STIC CCN-CERT Conferences

The STIC CCN-CERT (Security of Information and Communication Technologies) Conference, organised by the Incident Response Capacity of the National Cryptologic Centre (CCN-CERT), is the most important cybersecurity event in Spain. With the attendance of more than 10,000 national and international professionals (in person and online), with the collaboration of more than 90 companies from the ICT sector, and with the participation of approximately 200 speakers from the public and private sector, this congress organised by the National Cryptologic Centre of the National Intelligence Centre has become the leader in the sector.

Since its first edition, held in 2007, the STIC Conference has established itself as the benchmark event for promoting cooperation between organisations and the exchange of information, knowledge and experiences in the field of cybersecurity, while at the same time promoting public-private collaboration.

The STIC Conference has the institutional support of all the national institutions with competences in the field, such as the Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE), the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), the Cybersecurity Coordination Office (OCC), the Civil Guard, the National Police and the Department of National Security (DSN). Various personalities and authorities from the highest State institutions, such as the Royal House and the Spanish Government, have also participated and continue to participate in its history.

The success of the successive events organised uninterruptedly in Madrid gave the National Cryptologic Centre the necessary impetus to undertake the internationalisation of its conferences. Thus, since 2021 - with the collaboration of INCIBE and the MCCE, and with the support of the Organisation of American States (OAS) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) - an international chapter of the STIC Conference has been held annually in Latin America. The results obtained in each new edition endorse the Jornadas STIC as the most important cybersecurity congress in Spain and Ibero-America.
