"A digital shield for an interconnected Spain"
For the first time, the three major cybersecurity events held in Spain are joining forces in an unprecedented event under the slogan "A digital shield for an interconnected Spain."
The National Cryptologic Center (CCN) of the National Intelligence Center, the Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE), and RootedCON are organizing the XIX STIC CCN-CERT Conference | VII ESPDEF-CERT Cyber_Defense Conference | RootedCON Congress from November 24-27, 2025, at the Kinépolis Ciudad de la Imagen cinema in Madrid.
As a new development this year and as a prelude to the start of #stic2025, a special edition of the RootedCON Congress will take place on November 24, 2025, this time as part of the program in collaboration with the STIC Conference. This day will be dedicated to training and practical sessions, designed to offer attendees applied technical learning, focusing on emerging threats and advanced defense tools. It will be a capacity-building space, specifically designed for technical profiles, industry professionals, and members of the specialized community.
Following the special chapter of the RootedCON Congress, the XIX STIC Conference | VII ESPDEF-CERT Cyber_Defense Conference will take place from November 25th to 27th, where the latest research, policies, regulations, and technologies applied to the protection of national cyberspace will be presented. During the three days, experts from the public, private, and academic sectors will share knowledge, experiences, and strategies in presentations, roundtable discussions, and specialized workshops. Critical topics such as defense against cyberattacks, the protection of critical infrastructure, the national and European regulatory framework, incident management, and innovation in cybersecurity technologies will be addressed, thus consolidating the joint commitment of all sectors to build a digital shield for Spain.
This edition marks a historic milestone in the national cybersecurity landscape, not only for its scope and scale, but also for its strategic value in strengthening cooperation between key institutions in the digital and defense sectors. The union of these conferences represents today more than ever an opportunity to foster collaboration between the public, private, and academic sectors, as well as the cyber community.
Under a theme that reflects the shared commitment to protecting digital environments in an increasingly interconnected world, this event will bring together more than 7,000 national and international professionals from the information and communications technology security sector. The #STIC2025 Conference represents a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and advance the development of collaborative, effective cybersecurity aligned with the challenges of the present and the future.
