"International commitment to global cybersecurity"

The two main events in the field of cybersecurity in Spain, the STIC Conference and the RootedCON Congress, join forces once again to jointly organize a new international meeting, which will take place for the second consecutive year in Panama from May 21 to 23, 2025.

The Panamanian city has been selected as a strategic point to host the largest cybersecurity event in Latin America, consolidating the success of previous editions held in Bogotá (Colombia, 2021), Medellín (Colombia, 2022), Punta Cana (Dominican Republic, 2023) and Panama City (Panama, 2024).

Once again, the Panama Convention Center will host the next international edition of the STIC Conference and the RootedCON Congress in 2025. The objective of this event is to promote international alliances in cybersecurity. The current cyberthreat situation requires increased collaboration and the exchange of knowledge to ensure the security of cyberspace in all Ibero-American countries. Turning challenges and threats into opportunities for our societies is a top priority challenge. For this reason, the National Cryptologic Center (CCN) of the National Intelligence Center of Spain (CNI), the Joint Cyberspace Command (MCCE) and RootedCON, as representatives of Spain, and by the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Republic of Panama (SENACYT) and National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG) are organizing this new event that will establish an unprecedented scenario of international cooperation.

Under the motto "International commitment to global cybersecurity" the event will once again bring together the main experts and professionals in the field from Spain and Ibero-America. It will take place in a unique environment, in a country that has established itself as a key point of global connection in all aspects that, specifically, constitutes an international hub of high strategic interest for cybersecurity. The #STICPANAMÁ Conference will be a space for learning and collaboration among all countries to neutralize cyberspace threats.
