Biografía
After working for 18 years in the private sector on compliance and quality assurance in the micro-electronics and medical field, Johan Klykens joined the public service and more specifically the Belgian accreditation body. He was involved in supporting the CCB, the Cybersecurity Centre Belgium, on accreditation matters during the transposition of the NIS Directive and the development of the Cybersecurity Act. Johan joined the CCB in June 2022, as the Director of the Certification Service of the CCB. In this position he is responsible for the market surveillance of products, processes and services certified under the CSA Act and he represents the Belgian authorities in the ECCG and participates to numerous ENISA working groups. Next to that, he is a qualified assessor on the main accreditation standards for BELAC, and involved in standardization on conformity assessment and member of Belgian standardization mirror groups on cybersecurity.
