Laura Montoya

Laura Montoya serves as a Program Manager for Cyber Capacity Building Programs in the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policy (CDP), formerly known as the Office of the Coordinator for Cyber Issues (S/CCI). In this role, Laura manages capacity building programming in the Americas and coordinates with a myriad of stakeholders in the government and private sectors, as well as with multilateral institutions. Laura’s professional background includes over 15 years of experience in all aspects of international program management for U.S. government funded technical assistance programs worldwide. Ms. Montoya holds a M.A. in Political Science as well as a B.A. in Government & International Affairs from George Mason University; and has completed a Graduate Certificate in Project Measurement and Evaluation from American University.
